Snehadhara Foundation
Gitanjali started Snehadhara because her daughter Sneha — who now speaks five languages learned through songs and stories — needed a learning space that didn't yet exist in India. 'What better than the arts?' she says.
Founded in 2012 by Dr. Gitanjali G Govindrajan. India's only organisation using Arts Based Therapy (ABT) as its primary methodology for children and adults with developmental disabilities including autism. Direct care for 35 children/adults (ages 7–41). Also runs impART (corporate/community inclusion) and Prajnadhara (API certification course). Has trained 3000+ professionals across 8 countries.
