Tom & Jerry Nursery & Special School — JDC Sparsha Educational Trust

InclusionChildrenSince 1996

Mrs. Shakila Banu started Tom & Jerry in 1996 with a simple idea: every child deserves a school that sees them. Three decades later, the special school at Sri Vittalagiri Dhama in Kengeri is still doing exactly that — speech therapy, physio, and special education for children the mainstream system overlooks.

A government-recognised special school in Kengeri, run by JDC Sparsha Educational Trust since 1996. Serves children with autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, and other developmental conditions. Offers early schooling (play home to UKG), special education, and after-school therapy including speech therapy, physiotherapy, motor skills, ADL training, and pre-vocational skills. Over 20 trained teachers, visiting physiotherapist and speech therapist. Also runs a young women training programme for women with mild disabilities.
